Clément was a pioneer of rhum agricole, the style distilled from fresh sugarcane juice rather than molasses, which gives Martinique rum its distinctive grassy, vegetal character. This Single Cask bottling comes from one individual barrel rather than a blended batch, offering a more distinctive, less standardised expression of the distillery's style, bottled at a robust 41.6% ABV in a 50cl format. Expect notes of fresh cane, tropical fruit, vanilla and spice from cask ageing.
