Mont de Milieu, one of the appellation's warmer, easternmost premier cru climats, produces a riper, rounder style of Chardonnay than some of Chablis's more austere sites. The 2018 vintage from La Chablisienne shows ripe citrus and orchard fruit, a gentle honeyed note and the underlying chalky, saline minerality that Kimmeridgian limestone soils give to Chablis.
