Dominique was among the first to recognise the potential of the Mâconnais, purchasing higher-altitude old-vine parcels and converting the estate's 26 hectares to careful, quality-focused farming, using only large, neutral wood for ageing to preserve the fruit and minerality of the region. The estate is overseen today by Caroline Gon in close consultation with Dominique Lafon. The wine shows ripe orchard fruit, citrus and a mineral-driven finish. Pair with roast chicken, seafood risotto or fresh goat cheese.
