Made from 100% Chardonnay, it comes from the gravelly, well-drained soil of Les Gravières. It shows citrus and orchard fruit, a note of white flower and a fresh, mineral-tinged finish in the manner of Santenay's whites at the southern end of the Côte de Beaune.
