The estate is based at Verenay, in Ampuis, where Baptiste and Marguerite Clusel planted the family's first vines in 1935; Gilbert Clusel and Brigitte Roch gave the domaine its present name in 1989, and their son Guillaume has run it since 2009. Verchery is one of Condrieu's steep terraced climats. Expect apricot, white peach and honeysuckle, with a rich but dry finish.
