It is a village-level cuvée, not a premier cru. Made from Pinot Noir grown on the clay-limestone soils of the valley west of Meursault, it shows red fruit and an earthy character, with the extra concentration of old vines. At 13% alcohol, the 2022 balances ripeness with the vintage's freshness. Pair with roast duck, coq au vin, or a mushroom tart.
