Alex Moreau joined the family estate in 1995 and took sole charge in 2020; from the 2021 vintage Domaine Bernard Moreau et Fils became Domaine Alex Moreau, earlier vintages keeping the Bernard Moreau label, and the family has grown vines in the village since 1809. The vineyards are farmed without herbicides, on organic fertilisers and cover crops, and the whole crop is picked by hand; fermentation runs on native yeasts. It shows citrus and orchard fruit with a light chalky finish. Drink it with roast chicken, seafood risotto or a simple goat cheese salad.
