{"product_id":"pinard-vincent-sancerre-le-chateau-blanc","title":"Vincent Pinard Sancerre Le Château Blanc","description":"Le Château is one of the single-vineyard Sancerre Blanc cuvées of Domaine Vincent Pinard, made from Sauvignon Blanc grown on Kimmeridgian marl at Bué, in the eastern Loire. The nose shows citrus and white flowers, the palate is dry and stony. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts and ageing takes place in demi-muids, with no new oak. The Pinard family has grown vines in Bué since the seventeenth century, and brothers Florent and Clément run the estate today, harvesting by hand.
