Domaine Tortochot, a family estate based in Gevrey-Chambertin and run since 1997 by Chantal Michel-Tortochot, who took over from her father Gabriel, holds a very small parcel here of about seven rows of vines. The wine is made from Pinot Noir. The 2021 vintage was cooler and lower-yielding in Burgundy, generally producing fresher, more linear wines with bright acidity. Expect notes of red cherry, forest floor and spice, with firm tannins.
