Perles du Mont Blanc is a sparkling wine made from Gringet, a rare white grape found almost exclusively around Ayze in Haute-Savoie, where Domaine Belluard has been the variety's leading champion. Dominique Belluard worked the family estate from 1988 until his death in 2021, expanding Gringet plantings through selection massale and establishing the domaine as the holder of roughly half the world's Gringet vines. The Belluard estate in Ayze now bottles its wines under the name Domaine du Gringet. Made using the traditional method, this sparkling wine offers fresh citrus, white flowers and a delicate, chalky minerality drawn from the Alpine terroir, with a fine, gentle mousse. Serve as an aperitif or alongside light seafood, fresh goat's cheese, or Alpine charcuterie.
