Vintage2019
Giuseppe Rinaldi's Barbera d'Alba, 2019 vintage, is a red wine made from the Barbera grape, grown around Alba in Italy's Piedmont region by this Barolo estate founded in 1870. Now run by sisters Marta and Carlotta Rinaldi, who continue their father's uncompromising, traditionalist methods, the domaine is best known for age-worthy, powerfully structured Nebbiolo-based Barolo, but its Barbera d'Alba offers a lighter, more immediate expression of the estate's low-intervention philosophy. Expect vibrant dark cherry and plum fruit, bright acidity, and soft tannins typical of Barbera, with the 2019 vintage adding ripe, generous fruit. Pair with pasta in tomato sauce, grilled sausages, or charcuterie.
