Vosne-Romanée
Vosne-Romanée is the most concentrated cluster of Grand Cru vineyard in Burgundy: Romanée-Conti, La Tâche, Richebourg, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, La Romanée, La Grande Rue and, in adjoining Flagey-Echézeaux, Echézeaux and Grands-Echézeaux. Its Pinot Noir is known for spice, dark cherry and an exotic, almost oriental perfume over deep structure.
This collection lists village-level Vosne-Romanée; Premier Cru and Grand Cru bottlings are listed separately. Producers represented include Anne Gros and Jean-Jacques Confuron. Even village wines from Vosne generally need five years and hold well beyond fifteen.
