Vintage2015
Château Fourcas Dupré is a long-established Listrac-Médoc estate founded in 1844, farming 47.2 hectares of gravel soils of Pyrenean origin that give its wines a distinctive minerality alongside smoky, toasted notes. The blend is built around Cabernet Sauvignon for structure and Merlot for fruit and roundness, with smaller amounts of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Listrac-Médoc, located inland from the Gironde estuary on Bordeaux's Left Bank, produces sturdy, structured reds. The 2015 vintage, a strong year across the Médoc, delivers dark fruit, cedar and firm but approachable tannins with good aging potential. Serve with roast lamb, grilled steak or hard cheeses.
