Kapoiera is an artisanal cachaça produced at a distillery in Paraisolândia, in the state of São Paulo in Brazil's Sudeste region. Distilled from fermented sugarcane juice rather than molasses, in the traditional cachaça method, this spirit is bottled at 38% ABV and offers the grassy, vegetal sweetness and bright character typical of quality Brazilian cachaça. It is particularly well suited to making caipirinha, Brazil's national cocktail, muddled with lime and sugar, though it can also be enjoyed neat or over ice by those exploring sugarcane spirits beyond rum. A distinctive, single-origin Brazilian spirit for cocktail enthusiasts and those curious about South American distilling traditions outside of wine and Cognac.
