Vintage2016
Château Quintus is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru estate created in 2011 by the Domaine Clarence Dillon family, owners of Château Haut-Brion, built around the former Château Tertre-Daugay and expanded in 2013 with the addition of neighboring Château L'Arrosée. The wine is a Bordeaux Right Bank blend of roughly 73% Merlot and 27% Cabernet Franc, grown on the estate's mosaic of clay and limestone terroirs. The 2016 vintage produced ripe, well-balanced wines across Bordeaux, and this one shows dark plum and black cherry fruit, notes of graphite and spice, and a firm but polished tannic structure built for extended ageing. Pair with roast beef, lamb, or a rich mushroom and truffle dish.
