VintageNM
Petit Vin d'Avril is a Vin de France bottling from Clos des Papes, the historic Châteauneuf-du-Pape estate founded by Paul Avril in 1896 and now directed by fourth-generation Vincent Avril, offering an accessible, playful counterpart to the estate's flagship Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Released without a specific vintage designation, this red draws on the same organic-farmed Southern Rhône fruit and winemaking philosophy as the grand vin, but in a lighter, more immediately drinkable style at 15% alcohol, with juicy red fruit, garrigue spice and soft, easy tannins. Serve slightly chilled with charcuterie, grilled vegetables or a casual weeknight meal for a genuine taste of the Southern Rhône.
