Vintage2021
Les Grandes Lolières is one of the red Grand Cru climats within Corton, and Domaine Jean-Pierre Maldant, based in Ladoix-Serrigny since 1895 at the foot of the Corton hill, produces this 100% Pinot Noir bottling from the site. Now led by fifth-generation winemaker Pierre-François Maldant, the estate uses sustainable viticulture with hand harvesting and no herbicides. The 2021 vintage, bottled at 13% ABV, shows dark cherry and blackcurrant fruit, earthy spice, and the firm tannic structure typical of Corton Grand Cru reds, built for cellaring. Pair with roast beef, game, or aged hard cheeses. A Grand Cru red Burgundy from a family domaine deeply rooted in the Corton hillside.
