Charlouise is a Sancerre Rouge from Domaine Vincent Pinard, made entirely from Pinot Noir grown on old vines around Bué in the eastern Loire. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts and ageing takes place in barrel, with no new oak. The Pinard family has grown vines in Bué since the seventeenth century, and brothers Florent and Clément run the estate today, harvesting by hand. Light to medium bodied, it is served lightly chilled with roast chicken, charcuterie or a young Loire goat cheese. Select your preferred vintage above.
