Vintage2014
Domaine J. Boulon is a family estate in Corcelles-en-Beaujolais that has passed from father to son for six generations, with Jacques Boulon and his wife Françoise having grown and modernised the property before their daughter Ludivine and her husband Hugo took over more recently. This Beaujolais Rouge, made from 100% Gamay, reflects the domaine's classically lively, fresh house style. Now more than a decade old, the 2014 vintage shows softened red fruit, earthy undertones and gentle, well-resolved tannins, having moved past its youthful, fruit-driven phase into a more savoury maturity. This is an interesting, developed example of everyday Beaujolais. Pair with charcuterie, roast chicken or a simple bistro terrine.
