Vintage2021
This Aloxe-Corton Rouge comes from Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine, a family estate based in Pernand-Vergelesses in Burgundy's Côte de Beaune, established in 1879 and now run by fifth-generation Christine Dubreuil alongside her daughter Clémentine Gruère-Dubreuil. Made from 100% Pinot Noir grown near the Corton hill, the 2021 vintage, bottled at 13.5% ABV, shows red and black cherry fruit, earthy spice, and firm, moderate tannins typical of village-level Aloxe-Corton. The estate, which also produces several Corton Grand Cru wines, farms with environmentally conscious methods, hand harvesting, and careful sorting. Pair with roast duck, coq au vin, or a mild goat cheese.
