Vintage2020
Domaine François Lumpp is based in Givry, a Côte Chalonnaise appellation that produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. François Lumpp, who founded his own label in 1991 with his wife Isabelle, farms all his vines himself across nine and a half hectares, an unusually hands-on approach for Burgundy today. 'À Vigne Rouge' is one of the domaine's Givry premier cru sites. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, the 2020 vintage shows ripe dark cherry fruit, gentle spice and structured, well-judged tannins. Pair with roast duck, coq au vin or a Comté cheese board.
