Vintage
Grand Chemarin is a single-vineyard Sancerre Blanc from Domaine Vincent Pinard, made from Sauvignon Blanc grown on caillottes, the stony limestone soils of Bué in the eastern Loire. Expect citrus and white stone fruit, with a dry, saline finish. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts and ageing takes place in demi-muids, with no new oak. The Pinard family has grown vines in Bué since the seventeenth century, and brothers Florent and Clément run the estate today, harvesting by hand. Pair with richer seafood dishes, poultry in cream sauce or aged goat cheese. Select your preferred vintage above.
