Vintage2022
Pernand-Vergelesses is a Côte de Beaune village best known for wines from the slopes of the Corton hill, and 'Les Belles Filles' is one of its lieux-dits. This bottling comes from Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet, the Chassagne-Montrachet estate founded by Pierre Ramonet and now directed by his grandson, whose 24 appellation wines extend beyond its whites into villages like Pernand-Vergelesses. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, the 2022 vintage shows red fruit, spice and a fresh, slightly rustic character typical of this cooler, north-facing part of the Côte de Beaune. Pair with roast pork, duck, or a herb-crusted rack of lamb.
