Vintage
La Comme is a premier cru at the north-eastern end of Santenay, bordering the commune of Chassagne-Montrachet and at the opposite end of the appellation from Clos Rousseau. This Vieilles Vignes bottling comes from Domaine Bachey-Legros, a family estate with vines in Santenay since the nineteenth century and run since 2008 by the brothers Samuel and Lénaïc. It is 100% Pinot Noir from old vines, much of the estate's holding having been planted between 1935 and 1955. It shows red and black cherry, a floral lift and fine, well-integrated tannins. Pair with roast poultry, veal or a mushroom risotto. Select your preferred vintage above.
