Vintage2019
Clos Saint-Denis is a Pinot Noir grand cru of about six and a half hectares in Morey-Saint-Denis, on the Côte de Nuits. This 2019 bottling comes from Domaine Bertagna, based in Vougeot, assembled by Claude Bertagna from the late 1940s, bought by the Reh family in 1982 and directed since 1988 by Eva Reh-Siddle, who farms the domaine's seventeen hectares with a hand harvest and sorting in both vineyard and cellar. The 2019 vintage was warm and low-yielding, and the wine is concentrated, with dark cherry, spice and fine tannins at 13.5% alcohol. It goes with roast game, duck or mature cheeses.
