Vintage2020
Clos de la Perrière is a premier cru monopole of Vougeot: Domaine Bertagna is the sole owner of this walled vineyard of about 2.26 hectares, beside the Clos de Vougeot. Its stone was quarried to build the Château du Clos de Vougeot. Bertagna, based in Vougeot and directed by Eva Reh-Siddle since 1988, picks by hand and sorts in both vineyard and cellar. The 2020 vintage was warm and concentrated, giving this Pinot Noir dense dark fruit, fine tannins and firm structure at 13.5% alcohol. It goes with roast lamb, venison or aged cheeses, and has the structure to keep. Select your preferred vintage above.
