Vintage2020
Clos des Épeneaux is a five-hectare walled monopole in the centre of Pommard, farmed exclusively by Domaine du Comte Armand since 1828. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this wine combines Pommard's characteristic power with real refinement and a distinctive spiced character. Expect the 2020 vintage, bottled at 14.5% abv, to show dense dark fruit, liquorice and pepper spice, and firm, structured tannins built for extended cellaring. Decant it well in advance or give it several years in bottle. Pair with roast venison, beef Wellington or a mature, hard cheese.
