Vintage
Latricières-Chambertin lies immediately south of Chambertin, at the southern end of the Gevrey-Chambertin grand cru band, and is one of the commune's nine grands crus. Domaine Drouhin-Laroze, a Côte de Nuits estate run by Nicolas and Caroline Drouhin, makes this cuvée from Pinot Noir alone and raises it in up to eighty per cent new oak from the Allier and Nivernais, then bottles it with minimal filtration. The wine is tightly structured, with dark fruit, spice and firm tannin. It goes with roast venison, pigeon or a mature Époisses. Select your preferred vintage above.
