Vintage2023
Corton is the only red grand cru of the Côte de Beaune, and this 2023 bottling of Les Grandes Lolières from Domaine Gilbert & Christine Felettig is made from Pinot Noir grown on the Corton hill. Les Grandes Lolières is one of the climats on the Ladoix-Serrigny side of the hill entitled to the Corton appellation. Expect dark cherry and blackberry fruit, forest floor and spice, over a firm tannic backbone. Corton reds are fuller-bodied than village or premier cru Burgundy and can hold for a decade or more. Serve with roast beef, game or mature hard cheeses.
