Vintage2021
This magnum (150cl) of Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru "Les Suchots" 2021 from Domaine Pierre Girardin is Pinot Noir from a premier cru vineyard of the Côte de Nuits, bordering the grand cru of Échezeaux. Pierre-Vincent Girardin sources this cuvée through his father's long-standing grower relationships across Burgundy, bringing his own restrained, terroir-focused winemaking to fruit from this site. Les Suchots typically yields wines of great finesse, with red and black cherry, violet aromatics and silky tannins. Bottled in magnum format, the 2021 will age particularly gracefully thanks to the slower maturation this larger format allows. Best served with roast duck, game birds or a special-occasion meal.
