Les Fleurières is a village lieu-dit of Nuits-Saint-Georges, bottled as Pinot Noir by Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron, the small Prémeaux-Prissey estate whose holdings reach into the Clos de Vougeot and Romanée-Saint-Vivant grands crus. It shows the savoury depth of the appellation, with dark cherry and forest floor, given flesh by a long pre-fermentation cold soak and a spell in barrel. Pair with roast pork, mushroom dishes or a beef stew.
