Vintage2022
This 2022 Chambolle-Musigny premier cru from Domaine Laurent Roumier is drawn from the estate's premier cru parcels and bottled as a blend, alongside the separate Les Charmes bottling. Laurent Roumier, a grandson of Georges Roumier, founded the estate in 1991. Domaine Laurent Roumier is a separate producer from Domaine Georges Roumier, which his cousin Christophe Roumier runs. The Pinot Noir is entirely destemmed and fermented in concrete, then raised fifteen to eighteen months in barrel with around half new oak, at 13% alcohol. Expect dark fruit, silky tannin and the perfume of Chambolle. It goes with roast lamb, duck breast or a mature Époisses.
