Vintage2021
Les Champeaux is a 1er Cru climat in Gevrey-Chambertin, farmed by Domaine Tortochot as part of its family vineyard holdings in the Côte de Nuits. The estate is in its fourth generation and has been run since 1997 by Chantal Michel-Tortochot, who took over from her father Gabriel. This 100% Pinot Noir wine comes from the cooler, lower-yielding 2021 Burgundy vintage, which generally produced fresher, more precise wines than recent warmer years. Expect red and black cherry fruit, dark spice and a firm, structured tannic backbone. Pair with roast game, braised lamb shank or a cheese board.
