Domaine Bruno Clair is the sole owner of Clos du Fonteny, a monopole climat classified 1er Cru within Gevrey-Chambertin, farmed from the domaine's base at Marsannay-la-Côte, Côte de Nuits. The parcel covers 0.67 hectare on clay-limestone over Prémeaux limestone, planted in 1972 and 1987. Expect notes of red cherry, crushed stone and spice, with fine-grained tannins that give the wine both precision and ageing potential. As a monopole, the cuvée comes entirely from this single parcel. Serve with roast poultry, mushroom dishes or a mild Burgundian cheese. Select your preferred vintage above.
