This Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Jarrons is grown in the Côte de Beaune and produced by Domaine Bruno Clair, whose base is at Marsannay-la-Côte. The parcel lies on clay-limestone soil with an east to north-east exposure, planted in 1983 and 1987. Expect notes of red cherry, cranberry and subtle spice, with fine tannins and a bright, mineral-tinged finish. It pairs with roast poultry, charcuterie or a mild goat cheese.
