Savigny-lès-Beaune Premier Cru Aux Gravains is a red-wine vineyard farmed by Domaine Henri Germain et Fils, the Meursault estate founded in 1973 by Henri Germain and now run by his son Jean-François alongside fifth-generation Lucie. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, Savigny-lès-Beaune is a Côte de Beaune village known for elegant, fragrant reds, and Aux Gravains, with its gravelly, well-drained soil, typically adds extra freshness and finesse. The domaine's hand-farming, low yields, and minimal intervention, including bottling largely unfined and unfiltered, preserve the wine's natural character. Expect red cherry, redcurrant, and a light spiced, floral lift with fine, silky tannins. Pair with roast poultry, charcuterie, or a mushroom-based dish. The 2023 vintage offers a fresh, elegant take on this Premier Cru.
