Vintage2023
Beaune Premier Cru Bressandes is one of the vineyard holdings of Domaine Henri Germain et Fils, an estate founded in 1973 when Henri Germain left Château de Chorey-lès-Beaune to establish his own domaine in Meursault, today run by his son Jean-François Germain with the fifth generation, Lucie, now also involved. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, Bressandes typically gives structured, richly fruited wines with real aging potential. The domaine farms by hand with low yields and minimal intervention, bottling largely unfined and unfiltered with modest use of new oak. Expect dark cherry, plum, and warm spice, framed by firm, polished tannins. Pair with braised beef, duck, or a mature cheese board. The 2023 vintage brings fresh, well-defined fruit to this classic Côte de Beaune Premier Cru.
