Vintage2023
This village Meursault 2023 comes from Domaine Henri Germain et Fils, founded in 1973 in Meursault by Henri Germain and now run by his son Jean-François, with fifth-generation Lucie recently joining the estate. Made from 100% Chardonnay, the domaine is known for elegant, racy Meursault built on hand-farming, low yields, and minimalist winemaking, with wines typically bottled unfined and unfiltered and given only modest new oak. Expect ripe apple and pear fruit balanced by fresh acidity and Meursault's characteristic nutty, saline undertone, avoiding the heavier, more buttery style once common in the appellation. Pair with roast chicken, scallops, or a creamy fish dish. The 2023 vintage offers a fresh, precise expression of village Meursault.
