This village Meursault Vieilles Vignes from Domaine Pernot-Belicard is made from old-vine Chardonnay on the estate's Côte de Beaune holdings, farmed by Philippe Pernot. Meursault gives a richer, more textured white than neighbouring Puligny-Montrachet. The fruit is picked by hand, sorted and whole-cluster pressed, and the wine spends time in barrel before further lees ageing in stainless steel, as across the range. Expect ripe orchard fruit, hazelnut, a touch of butter and a saline finish. Pair with roast guinea fowl, creamy sauces or Comté. Select your preferred vintage above.
