Puligny-Montrachet has its own Les Perrières premier cru, in the south of the commune on the lower ground just below Bâtard-Montrachet, and it is not the Meursault climat of the same name. Domaine Pernot-Belicard, the small Puligny estate run by Philippe Pernot, picks by hand and whole-cluster presses the fruit before barrel ageing and extended lees contact. The style is precise and linear, with citrus, white flowers and a chalky finish. Serve with raw oysters, grilled sole or fresh chèvre. Select your preferred vintage above.
