Les Folatières is one of the largest premier crus of Puligny-Montrachet, on the slope below Champ Gain. This bottling is made by Domaine Pernot-Belicard, the estate founded in Puligny-Montrachet in 2009 by Philippe Pernot, of the village's Paul Pernot family. The Chardonnay is picked by hand, sorted and whole-cluster pressed, then raised in barrel before further time on fine lees. The 2022 shows ripe citrus, white peach and a chalky mineral backbone with length. Serve with roast lobster, veal blanquette or aged Comté.
