Vintage2020
Domaine Benoît Ente's Bourgogne Mathilde, 2020 vintage, is a Pinot Noir red wine from this Puligny-Montrachet based estate, better known for its white Burgundies. Benoît Ente, younger brother of fellow Puligny winemaker Arnaud Ente, made his debut vintage in 1999 and farms six hectares across Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. This regional Bourgogne rouge, one of the few reds from a producer whose focus lies in Chardonnay, shows bright red cherry fruit, light spice, and the freshness-focused, minimal-oak approach that defines the domaine's winemaking. Pair with roast chicken, charcuterie, or a mushroom tart.
