Vintage
Gevrey-Chambertin is the home appellation of Domaine Marchand-Grillot, the Côte de Nuits estate created when two growing families, the Marchands and the Grillots, were joined by marriage in 1950. Jacques Marchand heads the domaine, his son Étienne has made the wines since 2009 and his daughter Marion joined in 2015 to run the commercial side. This village wine is Pinot Noir, grown without synthetic herbicides or pesticides for more than twenty-five years, the soils ploughed in place of weedkiller. Expect black cherry, earth and spice over firm tannin. It suits braised beef, duck confit or aged cheeses. Select your preferred vintage above.
