Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet is based in Chassagne-Montrachet and directed by Jean-Claude Ramonet, grandson of founder Pierre Ramonet, alongside his daughters Anne-France and Clarisse. Although the estate is best known for its white grand and premier crus, this regional Bourgogne Rouge is made entirely from Pinot Noir and reflects the same old-vine fruit, low yields and gentle winemaking approach applied across the domaine's range. Expect the 2022 vintage to show fresh red cherry and berry fruit with soft, approachable tannins and only a light touch of oak. Pair with roast chicken, charcuterie or a simple beef tartare.
