Vintage2021
Les Jeunes Rois is a village-level lieu-dit within Gevrey-Chambertin farmed by Domaine Tortochot, a family estate in the Côte de Nuits now in its fourth generation and run since 1997 by Chantal Michel-Tortochot, who took over from her father Gabriel. Made entirely from Pinot Noir, this bottling comes from the 2021 Burgundy vintage, a cooler, lower-yielding year that generally favoured freshness and precision. Expect notes of red cherry, cranberry and light spice, with structured tannins and bright acidity. It pairs well with roast poultry, mushroom dishes or a simple beef stew.
