Clos de la Mousse is a walled premier cru monopole within the town of Beaune, owned in its entirety by Bouchard Père & Fils, the négociant-grower founded in 1731 and based at the Château de Beaune in Burgundy's Côte de Beaune. It is a medium to full-bodied red with dark cherry and blackberry fruit, supple tannins and the savoury, earthy undertone typical of Beaune's clay and limestone soils. At 13% alcohol it drinks well young but has the structure to hold for several years. Serve with roast duck, coq au vin or aged Comté. Select your preferred vintage above.
