Vintage2018
Chevalier-Montrachet is one of Burgundy's most celebrated white Grand Crus, and Les Demoiselles is a tiny 0.51-hectare climat within it, farmed by Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot, part of the historic Louis Jadot house founded in 1859. This 2018 vintage is Chardonnay, fermented and aged for fifteen to eighteen months in oak barrels, and is built for long-term cellaring, with a typical drinking window extending fifteen to twenty years from the vintage. Expect a powerful, concentrated white with toast, honey and white orchard fruit aromas, remarkable depth, and a long, mineral finish. Pair it with lobster, roast veal in cream sauce or a mature Comté.
