Vintage2024
This Chassagne-Montrachet premier cru rouge from Domaine Fontaine-Gagnard is a Pinot Noir from the 2024 vintage. The estate works twelve hectares, principally in Chassagne-Montrachet, and is run by Céline Fontaine, who joined in 2007, with Frédéric Robert since 2018; it was founded in 1985 by her parents Laurence Gagnard and Richard Fontaine. Expect dark cherry fruit, fine tannin and the earthy, mineral undertone of red Chassagne, with more depth and structure than the village red. Serve with roast lamb, duck breast or a firm, aged cheese.
