Vintage2022
Bonnes-Mares is a grand cru straddling Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis, combining Chambolle's perfume with more structure. Domaine Robert Groffier, a family estate based in Morey-Saint-Denis whose holdings are concentrated in Chambolle-Musigny, farms a parcel here of just under a hectare, on limestone and clay soils. This is 100% Pinot Noir. The 2022 vintage shows dense dark fruit, violet and spice aromatics, and a firm tannic structure. Suited to roast game, venison or a rich beef dish, and built for some years in the cellar.
