Clos de Vougeot is one of Burgundy's most historic grand crus, its walled vineyard on the Côte de Nuits dating to the Cistercian monks of Cîteaux Abbey. This bottling from Domaine de la Vougeraie, founded in 1999 when Jean-Charles Boisset consolidated the family's best vineyard holdings, reflects the estate's meticulous, terroir-focused winemaking under winemaker Pierre Vincent. It suits roast game, beef Wellington, or mature cheeses, and has the structure to age well over the next decade. A serious grand cru from one of the Côte d'Or's most respected modern domaines.
